Botox® Injections for Facial Lines & Wrinkles
Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin. In small, controlled doses, it relaxes facial muscles and smooths dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement. It’s one of the most popular non-surgical treatments for fine lines and wrinkles.
How Botox Works
By temporarily relaxing the targeted facial muscles, Botox softens the appearance of wrinkles while preventing deeper lines from forming. It is most effective for dynamic wrinkles and is commonly used to treat:
- Forehead lines
- Frown lines (glabellar lines)
- Bunny lines
- Crow’s feet
- Mild neck banding
What to Expect
Botox is a quick, injectable treatment that is done in our office. It typically takes 15-30 minutes to complete depending on the areas of the face being treated.
The area being treated is cleaned and we use a very fine needle to inject the Botox. Most people tolerate the injections well and describe the feeling as a pinching sensation. Some areas of the face are more sensitive than others, ie. around the eyes can be more tender than the forehead.
There is no downtime with Botox which is why it’s often referred to as a ‘lunch time’ procedure. Full results are visible in 7-10 days and results last 3 to 4 months.

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) for Natural Rejuvenation
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a natural facial treatment that uses your own healing factors to refresh skin texture, tone, and volume. It supports anti-aging by gently boosting collagen production and tissue repair without synthetic additives or fillers.
What Is PRF and How Does It Work?
PRF is derived from a small sample of your blood. It contains a high concentration of growth factors, white blood cells, and stem cells that support natural collagen growth and tissue regeneration.
Once collected and processed in a centrifuge, the PRF is carefully injected to restore natural volume, smooth wrinkles, and improve skin tone. Results develop gradually, often starting to appear within 4 to 6 weeks as new collagen forms.
What Can PRF Treat?
This non-surgical treatment can improve the appearance of:
- Smile lines (nasolabial folds)
- Marionette lines
- Under-eye hollows or dark circles
- Fine lines and crepey skin
- Loss of volume in cheeks or temples
Why Patients Love PRF
PRF comes directly from your own body and carries a very low risk of allergic reaction. It is a great choice for patients who want a natural, gradual boost in skin volume and tone. Over time, PRF helps your skin build more collagen and elasticity for long-lasting results without foreign substances.
Botox for Masseter Reduction
Whether you are looking to soften a square jawline or find relief from chronic clenching, Botox offers a subtle yet effective solution. By targeting the masseter muscles this treatment can reduce facial tension and refine the overall shape of the lower face.
How It Works
Botox is carefully injected into the masseter area to relax the muscle over time. As the muscle becomes less active, it gradually decreases in size, leading to a slimmer appearance and reduced strain on the jaw. The results develop gradually and typically last several months.
Many patients begin to notice a slimmer facial shape and reduced jaw tension within two to three weeks. As the muscle activity continues to decrease, both facial contouring and relief from clenching or TMJ discomfort often improve over time. Because the masseter is a larger muscle, results typically last four to six months or longer.
Benefits of Masseter Reduction
These are some of the key benefits patients appreciate:
- Slims the lower face and enhances facial structure
- Reduces jaw pain, tension, and clenching
- Improves headaches caused by bruxism
- Non-invasive alternative to jaw surgery

FAQs About Facial Cosmetics
What’s the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
Botox is used to relax muscles and reduce dynamic wrinkles, while dermal fillers restore volume and smooth static wrinkles. We offer PRF, a natural alternative to traditional dermal fillers, to restore skin volume and boost collagen production.
Is PRF better than filler?
PRF offers a more natural option for patients who prefer to avoid synthetic products. While traditional fillers provide instant volume, PRF promotes gradual improvements by stimulating your body’s own collagen production. Results may take longer to appear, but they can look more natural over time.
How long does Botox last?
Most patients enjoy results for 3 to 4 months. For masseter reduction, effects may last 4 to 6 months or longer due to the size of the treated muscles.
How soon can I wear makeup after a cosmetic procedure?
Wait at least 24 hours before wearing makeup to allow the treated areas to heal properly. This helps reduce the risk of irritation or infection. Avoid heavy pressure or exfoliation during this time.
Are these treatments safe for all skin types?
Yes, our injectable treatments are safe and effective for all skin types. We tailor every treatment plan to your skin tone, texture, and medical history for safe, optimal results.
Will Botox affect my facial expressions?
We use a conservative approach to ensure that your facial expressions remain natural. The goal is to soften wrinkles and enhance your features, not freeze or overfill.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
There is little to no downtime for Botox and PRF. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising, which typically resolves within a few hours to a couple of days.
Can I get Botox and PRF at the same time?
Yes, these treatments complement each other well. Botox smooths dynamic wrinkles, while PRF restores natural volume and improves skin quality.
What should I avoid after my cosmetic procedure?
For the first 24 hours, avoid alcohol, heavy exercise, massaging the treated area, and taking blood thinners unless prescribed.
